The continued decline in asset values as a result of underperformance combined with the billions of dollars in commercial debt maturing in the near future will force lending institutions to foreclose on many commercial assets. Most investors are still not accepting Lenders' disposition prices since the expensive equity and falling asset values continue to make these acquisitions difficult. As a result, deeply discounted opportunities will be made available on distressed assets and well capitalized buyers will not find a better time to participate.
